Ref : yr trapping of around 15 stray dogs in the mountain of Wong Tai Sin this week

We received many calls recently for helping the above dogs. The people, who called us is a group of kind and hardworking volunteers, are used to feeding the dogs there for years and have brought them to us for desexing under our FREE ABC (animal birth control) project

As the number of the dogs there will not be increasing anymore, we would appreciate if you could stop trapping them n return all of them to us for rehoming.

We understand that it is yr job to deal with the complaints of the people who hate animals but we do also hope u could take consideration of the concern of the animal lovers. We believe that most people are lenient n humane as well as understand the principle :

All lives are equal ｎ deserved to be respected “u reap what u sow “

本署近月接獲大量翠竹花園居民反覆投訴，有嚴重流浪狗滋擾的問題。另外於本月3日黃大仙區議會食物環境衛生事務委員會會議中，有區議員投訴該區流浪狗滋擾嚴重，表示極度關注，要求解決有關問。這顯示你們的立塲與居民的要求有很大的分岐，區議員是居民的代表，為解決彼此的分岐，本署建議安排你們與該區區議員見面，一同商討，以長遠解決有關問題。

Dear Mr. So,

I write to urge you to spend your best efforts in help saving the strays
from destruction. by the Agricultural & Fisheries Department.

I would assume that your kindness and generosity would extend to all
living creatures, and not just voters in your electoral district.

Your help would generate much positive press reportage and your

After checking through my network, I found out that this incident was brought by a Wong Tai Sin District Board Councillor Mr. So Sik Kin 蘇錫堅 Tel: 21551199, Office at Basement, Block 13. Tsui Chuk Garden, 8 Tsui Chuk Road, Chuk Yuen, Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon.

This Mr. So even scolded the other WTS District Board members during meetings for not supporting his KILL DOGS activities.

　　我今日打過去搵郭先生，但佢今日放假，有另一個男子回覆說，希望我們可以領養他們，因為黃大仙翠竹花園有居民投訴，繼續落去都唔係辦法，始終ＴＮＲ計劃政府未正式實行。請問找到領養團體領養他們嗎？

HKCR emailed to afcd n district counsilor so sik kin on 20th Nov 09

dear afcd n mr so sik kin,

we are still waiting for yr reply for the returning of the 7 stray dogs trapped in wong tai sin (afcd confirmed yesterday, the actual number should be 7), since the temperature suddenly falls down, the longer u keep the dogs, the more chance the dogs would get sick in the kennel. we assure you that all the dogs would not be returned to the original place in wong tai sin n would let them be adopted or stay at our abc clinic at the moment to let our Dr Joe have their body checkup. pls be kindly note that the dogs are innocent n not deserved to be put down.

你們好, 自你們捕捉了黄大仙翠竹花園第3座山边的15隻山狗 (據漁農處證實,確實数字, 應該是7只) 自今已差不多有3星期了, LAP 已於11月7日代表出信漁農處領養他們全部, 但仍未有消息貴處何時會全部釋放他們。因近日天氣忽然地變得十分寒冷, 恐怕那7只山狗身體不能適應或會患病, 故希望貴處及蘇錫堅議員能為他們的健康着想, 盡快全部釋放他們, 好讓我們的Dr Joe盡快給他們進行醫治, 否則, 他們可能因不能適應突寒冷的天氣而病倒甚至死亡。我們並担保這批山狗不會放回原居地, 待他們康復后, 會為他們選擇適合的家庭被領養, 所以, 你們並不需担心他們會繼續地騷擾居民。懇請盡快給我們廣大市民一個確定答案。仍深相信香港大部份市民都存在着一果不但對人也對所有生物的愛心同時也支持

Please also contact 胡志偉 who promise to help animals as well. I approached him two years before. He advise me to send letter to AFCD and he helped me to pass it to AFCD ....... but of course with " negative response ". However, he promise he will raise the problem to the council.

Kindly for your reference. As for my info, one of the chairmans of 非牟利獸醫診所 had already approach Mr. Wu before.

Sorry, I lost his phone no.. Please visit his website. Maybe you can also mention that Ms. Ng from Wong Tai Sin had approach him before. I believed he will remember me as well as the problem of the stray dogs.

3)28th Jul 2010 : Many thanks to DRJOE, HODA n PET'N for helping ABC (Animal Birth Control) n saving millions of animals by ending their misrable destiny, e.g. being tortured, killed, hunger, sickness etc........

4)28th May 2010 : Mrs Fung who has financial diffiuclty n couldn't get her 9 dogs for desexing, HKCR helped desex all of them n found good family for her 6 dogs.

5)30th Jun 2010 : Ms Wong who is a cleaner in Mei Po of Yuen Long. She found a girl mongrel with sex disease n asked help from HKCR, DR JOE n HODA for help.

6)30th Jun 2010 : Although there are still many stray dogs for desexing in the carpark, construction sites n villages, we are trying our best to all them n looking forward for more support of our ABC (animals birth control) in the future. Lets keep fighting fighting for them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7)27-28th Jun 2010 : We promoted ABC ( Animal Birth Control )n conveyed the message of ALL LIVES ARE EQUAL, PLS RESPECT ALL LIVES in Tuen Mun Town Plaza. We do also hope more youngster can become volunteers so as to contribute our community.

11)18th may 2010 : a stray dog called bb, around 2 yrs old, found in a construction site in yuen long was cured by hoda clinic for his testicle cancer, he is so friendly n desperately needs a good family.

12)18th May 2010 : mr ho asked help from DrjoeHKCR on 21st oct 09 for his mongrel called fat boy whose front leg was completely broken n has been staying in hung shui kiu's clinic since last 21st oct 09, his broken leg n screw worm on the back has already been fixed by Drjoe
